The meeting is held from 9 am to 4 pm on the 19th of November at Van der Valk Hotel Amsterdam - Amstel. We are gathering the top directors developing in-house concepts for their wind farm operations and how they could better manage profitability, control and risks in collaboration.

Purpose

In-house concepts encompass a range of possibilities, from excluding main components from the LTSA to completely internalising O&M. These concepts enable you to become more profitable and gain better control. Still, they also mean that you need to take on more risk.

Owners who adopt this strategy immediately become more isolated and have a greater need to collaborate with other wind asset owners who share it.

The purpose is to learn from one another and to shape projects that address common needs. When we identify a common need, O2O WIND will draft a project, including the most suitable person/consultant to lead it, launch it, and follow up on the results.

Working in collaboration means it is cheaper, faster, and gives us more leverage.

The Fifth Year for our Top Directors' Forum

This is the fifth year of this ongoing initiative. The most recent one was held in November 2025, and compared to the previous one, we experienced a 70% growth. In November 2025, we gathered the top directors from Akuo Energy, Borusan, EDF Renouvelables, EDPR, Enefit Green, Enel Green Power, Enerjisa Üretim, Engie, Eurus Energy Holdings, Fortum, GA WIND, Green Power Investment, Iberdrola, Luminus, Nadara, Naturgy, RWE, Saeta Yield, Serveng, TotalEnergies, Vattenfall and YPF:

At our top director meetings, we solve challenges in two ways: 1) directly at the meeting or 2) in more formalised collaborations developed over time. Within the last category, we have nine ongoing initiatives:

  • Putting the MWs on the table
  • Creating a dynamic portfolio of all turbines owned by the wind asset owners. Each company can log in and see which matches they have within the group for all their turbine models, OEMs and technology platforms.
  • KPIs for supervising a wind farm
  • Enabling an exchange of components
  • A portal to match WTG owners and ISPs
  • A wind service portal

Each meeting is unique and offers top directors a new opportunity to present current challenges that can be addressed with direct, solid input from their peers. Your input can also be turned into a collaboration initiative developed among participants over time.

This year's meeting includes a turbine-specific session. Many discussions become turbine-specific, so with information from you on which are the top three turbine models you are currently focusing on in operations, we will divide into smaller groups for an hour.

This input is shared in the form at the bottom of this page.

Form 1 - Participants

Please share the participants' contact information and food preferences below. You can submit this form now and form 2, with the challenges later. Members have asked me if they can send a top director's assistant. We say no to this. We want to ensure that decision-making power is present at the meeting. Once we open a top director's assistant forum, we'll let you know 😀.

Form 2 - Our agenda
Our agenda is the most genuine agenda we could have. Every challenge on the agenda is based on real and current events experienced by an energy company operating wind turbines, with the goal of implementing in-house concepts. Furthermore, all the people who have formulated these challenges will be found at our meeting: the top directors themselves. Avoid formulating grand, mighty challenges with the aim of impressing your peers. Perhaps you will impress the less experienced individuals in the room, but you will likely receive less input from the more experienced ones.

This is an invite-only event. We will not include participants through video links. Either you will be at the table or you won't. It simply creates more valuable discussions.
